The film is based on an anonymous photograph that was taken in December 1989 during the Romanian revolution against the Communist regime in Bucharest - a revolution the filmmaker witnessed in his youth. Recreating this historical moment in the form of HD video, the image animates in slow motion over in 3 minutes revealing the detail of various emotional and psychological features of the characters. The work aims to create a powerful cinematic experience while at the same time analysing the power of the photographic image in relation to documentary, fiction, time and sound.
